The Rockefeller Foundation: Tapestry
The Rockefeller Foundation needed a very special pitch packet for potential investors. The heartwarming goal: to become one team of data scientists to see problems before they begin, send the right help to the right place at the right time, make the invisible truths around the world’s most vulnerable people, visible, and end the preventable deaths of mothers and babies in our lifetime.
The packet is a complete kit with a pledge card, a tote and pin, a digital pitch deck, a set of Eames cards, and a hand-cut and -sewn uncoated paper booklet. The packet allows the contents, purpose and experience to be visible and layered, weaving together the story of the Rockefeller Foundation’s project and who will benefit. The idea of tapestry was inspired by traditional fabrics all over the world. Women are often the creators of textiles, and the connectors of family and community bonds. These potential investors will connects the dots of data/stories to build a web that is the solution.
Rockefeller Foundation mission:
"We are dedicated to the principle that all individuals – dignified and resilient as they are – have the right to health, food, power and economic mobility. We seek to advance those goals with a better use of science and data and through collaboration with broad and diverse partners and grantees."
